Drive operational readiness and successful market migrations onto BaNCS, ensuring robust controls and seamless implementation. As a Senior Associate in Custody Operations Change Management, you will own end-to-end operational readiness for market migrations, collaborating with product, vendor, and operations partners to deliver successful implementations and strong risk and control outcomes.

As a Senior Associate in Custody Operations Change Management, you'll lead operational readiness for market migrations onto BaNCS. You partner with Product Development, vendors, and Operations to deliver migration strategy inputs, requirements, exception handling, governance and controls design, testing oversight, training enablement, documentation, and post-go-live stabilization. Together, we ensure seamless transitions, minimize disruption, and uphold high standards of risk and control.

Job responsibilities

  • Provide inputs to migration strategy, sequencing, and readiness prerequisites for each market.
  • Identify and document critical functionalities, exceptions, and pre-requisites for market migrations.
  • Collaborate with Product Development and vendor partners to support requirements gathering, solution design, and implementation readiness.
  • Design and implement a Management Governance Framework for migration execution, decision-making, escalation, and sign-off.
  • Map and embed effective operational controls onto BaNCS to enable accurate, error-minimized processing.
  • Track, manage, and drive closure of agent issues, ensuring visibility, prioritization, and timely remediation.
  • Create and execute Model Office Testing plans covering operational scenarios, including exception and nuance testing.
  • Participate in testing, review results with Operations, and take corrective actions to close gaps.
  • Raise and track change requests and defects, manage delivery follow-through, and attend defect triage to prioritize fixes.
  • Review dashboard items for validity, highlight unwanted items, and coordinate approved configuration changes.
  • Deliver comprehensive training programs, arrange walkthroughs, run competency testing, and maintain a Training Matrix for staff coverage.
  • Produce and maintain training and procedural documentation, define SOPs, capture manual workarounds, and develop user guides.
  • Review and maintain rule configurations, identify exceptions, and obtain management sign-off and team attestations.
  • Oversee BaNCS implementation and provide post-migration operational support to help Operations stabilize quickly.
  • Identify and prioritize production issues to minimize impact on upcoming migrations.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Experience leading or supporting platform/process migrations within Operations, Middle Office/Back Office, or shared services environments.
  • Demonstrated delivery across testing, implementation, governance, controls, training, and documentation work streams.
  • Strong capability in requirements capture, exception handling, and translating operational needs into system/process outcomes.
  • Experience managing defects, change requests, triage processes, and issue closure with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management across Operations, Product/Technology, vendors, and change management partners.
  • Excellent written communication skills for SOPs, user guides, and control documentation.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Prior experience with BaNCS or similar operational platforms and rule/configuration management.
  • Experience establishing or enhancing risk and control frameworks in operational environments.
  • Exposure to model office/UAT methodologies and dashboard/KPI validation.
  • Change management coordination experience, including OCM engagement and training governance.
