As a Lead Technical Program Manager within our Cloud Foundations Product Management team, you'll draw on your strengths managing people and processes to support technology products that typically span multiple lines of business and have firm-wide implications. You will leverage your advanced technical and analytical skills to translate business and operational objectives into actionable plans, navigating ambiguity and driving change.
You’ll collaborate with your teammates to drive successful execution of cloud initiatives including:
- Evaluating priorities and deadlines
- Planning and tracking delivery
- Maintaining JIRA and Confluence records
- Ensuring that relevant risks, issues and dependencies are being managed
- Reporting at various levels across the organization
In addition to collaborating with your teammates, you’ll communicate with stakeholders across the firm to work toward the best possible outcomes. Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive project and program plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of technology solutions
- Identify and manage risks, issues and dependencies - proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing contingency plans to maintain project and program momentum
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, delivery and business stakeholders, to define project and program scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall business goals
- Ensure project and program data is correctly represented in the appropriate systems of record and produce periodic roadmaps and reporting to meet the needs of stakeholders across the organization
- Utilize advanced analytical reasoning to assess project and program performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven optimizations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Champion the adoption of agile methodologies and technical solutions, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team and broader organization
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (preferably in Computer Science or IT)
- 5+ years’ experience operating as a senior Project/Program manager managing multiple projects and programs
- Knowledge of project management standards and methodologies (Agile certification preferred)
- Experience with project management, Agile and collaboration tools (Confluence, JIRA, JIRA Align, MS Project, Monday.com, MS Teams, Lucid)
- Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams, stakeholders and individual SMEs throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
- Good understanding of public cloud concepts and technology including the value proposition, architecture and application design best practices, common cloud product and service offerings
- Experience of delivering platforms at scale via any of the major public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), ideally in a financial markets setting
- Good understanding of the risks and controls associated with public cloud product and services usage
