As a Lead Software Engineer in the Identity and Access Management team, you will drive a team of innovators and technologists to deliver secure, robust, and high-impact solutions. You will set strategic direction, solve complex problems, and inspire your team to embrace leading-edge technologies and methodologies. Your role will involve collaborating across global teams, harnessing diverse talents, and contributing to some of our most innovative engineering work.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and guide a small team to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions
- Modernize authentication and authorization platforms across channels and domains
- Evaluate and prototype internal and vendor solutions for user authentication
- Integrate anti-fraud and biometric authentication solutions into customer-facing applications
- Utilize APIs and SDKs for niche solutions and open standards
- Drive quality and efficiency throughout the software development lifecycle
- Set and model high technical standards for the team
- Collaborate with local and global teams to achieve common goals
- Develop meaningful relationships to support project success
- Solve complex and mission-critical problems
- Embrace and implement leading-edge technologies and methodologies
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Ability to lead and direct a small team
- Understanding of application and data architecture disciplines
- Knowledge of architecture, design, and business processes
- Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages; Java strongly preferred
- Cloud native experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Flexibility to work across disparate technology stacks and applications
- Experience with authentication practices and solutions (such as OAuth2/OpenID Connect, SAML, Facebook Login, Google Sign-In)
- Ability to work collaboratively in local and global teams
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Commitment to delivering secure and robust solutions
- Passion for design, analytics, development, coding, and testing
