As an Execution Trading Associate in the Private Bank Execution Trading Desk, you will execute client-directed brokerage trades across multiple asset classes and help deliver a seamless end-to-end trading experience. You will work in a dynamic, client-facing environment where accuracy, control mindset, and responsiveness are essential. You’ll partner with Private Bank advisors and internal stakeholders across Europe, the Middle East and Africa to support client needs. You will also deepen product knowledge and contribute to a culture that prioritizes teamwork, accountability, and client outcomes.
Job responsibilities:
- Execute and capture client-directed brokerage trades across equities, foreign exchange, fixed income, precious metals, and related derivatives.
- Manage the end-to-end trade lifecycle, including pre-trade checks, execution, booking, and post-trade controls.
- Provide timely and accurate execution details to clients and internal partners, aligned to required disclosures and obligations (as applicable).
- Partner with Private Bank advisors and key stakeholders to respond to requests and deliver a high level of client service.
- Build and maintain strong product and market knowledge across the desk’s covered asset classes.
- Apply sound judgment under tight market deadlines while maintaining a strong risk and control mindset.
- Support a fast-paced, multi-market environment by prioritising effectively and communicating clearly.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- University degree (or equivalent), preferably in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Relevant trading experience and strong product knowledge across the desk’s covered asset classes.
- Ability to work accurately under tight market deadlines in a trading desk environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt detail to your audience.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a client-service mindset.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise effectively, and apply sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
