Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead Infrastructure Underwriting within Global Credit Financing (GCF) in Credit Trading. This role has a global scope within Markets.
The successful candidate will focus on private credit portfolio financing opportunities, aiming to grow the business to $10bn. Responsibilities include working closely with clients such as private credit funds, asset managers, and BDCs to provide infrastructure asset-backed financing solutions, conducting detailed investment discussions, and collaborating with sales, origination, and structuring teams to develop appropriate financing structures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the Global Head of Underwriting for Credit Financing in NY
- Manage risk across infrastructure financing solutions, including energy, transportation, digital sectors
- Assess and opine on the structure of financing facilities
- Engage with clients to understand their investments and demonstrate JPMorgan\’s expertise
- Develop strategic initiatives to innovate and expand the business
- Lead a team and mentor junior staff
- Coordinate with Credit Risk and Market Risk teams
Qualifications and Skills:
- Extensive experience in infrastructure-related credit risk, investment banking, or portfolio management, with strong credit analysis skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of managing a global team
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Ability to perform under pressure with a strong work ethic
- Ability to analyze macroeconomic impacts on credit portfolios
