As a Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Software Development department, you will be a highly skilled professional with a strong background in Identity and Access Management (IAM), cloud technologies, and application onboarding. This role provides the opportunity to apply your extensive experience in designing, developing, and integrating secure applications and infrastructure. A deep understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies is required, along with the ability to lead and mentor junior developers.
Job responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure and scalable applications and infrastructure with a focus on IAM solutions.
- Lead the application onboarding process, ensuring seamless integration and deployment of new applications.
- Implement and manage cloud-based solutions to enhance scalability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features and enhancements.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Extensive experience in Lead / Senior Lead Software Engineering positions.
- Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages; Java is strongly preferred.
- Extensive experience in software engineering with a focus on IAM solutions.
- Proven experience in application onboarding and integration.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong understanding of database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, and ORM frameworks.
- Experience with RESTful API design and development.
- Familiarity with version control systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes).
- Certification in IAM or related security fields.
