As an Engineer Associate at JPMorgan Chase in the Market Data team, Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB), you will promote innovation in digital rights and market data discovery by developing advanced AI-powered solutions. As a key contributor, you will leverage your expertise in GenAI, AgenticAI, Python, RAG, and MCP to build and optimize the SCUDO platform—an industry-leading, patented application for digital rights management and market data discovery.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions that enhance business user experience, workflow efficiency, and cost transparency. As an Associate Engineer in the Market Data Services team, you will be instrumental in extending SCUDO’s capabilities from digital rights management to a multi-module platform, embedding generative AI for contract data extraction, market data query answering, and AI-driven analytics dashboards. You will be recognized for your technical acumen in AI document parsing, LLM integration, and data management.
Job Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain advanced solutions for automating extraction, processing, and management of information from diverse document types (PDFs, Word files, scanned images, etc.)
- Leverage OCR, NLP, and machine learning technologies to accurately parse and structure unstructured and semi-structured data
- Optimize the accuracy, performance, and scalability of document parsing pipelines; maintain technical documentation and provide training/support to stakeholders
- Document integration architectures, protocols, and operational procedures
- Validate data contracts and usage rights, ensuring compliance and optimal utilization
- Work extensively with RDF data, utilizing SPARQL for graph queries
- Manage and query data using SQL for Oracle databases and No-SQL DSL for ElasticSearch
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data solutions meet business and regulatory requirements
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and two-week sprint cycles
- Stay current with advancements in MCP, LLMs, and AI integration technologies
- Hands‑on experience with large language models (LLMs) and GenAI frameworks
- Proficiency in Python and AI/ML libraries
- Experience with retrieval systems, vector databases, and search technologies
- Familiarity with RAG architectures and best practices
- Understanding of prompt engineering, model fine‑tuning, and evaluation
- Demonstrated ability to validate data contracts and usage rights, strong expertise with RDF data and SPARQL graph query languages
- Experience with document parsing technologies (OCR, NLP, machine learning)
- Proficient in SQL for Oracle and No‑SQL DSL for ElasticSearch
- Knowledge of MCP server technology
- Track record of developing and implementing data management policies and best practices
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, experience working in agile teams
- Experience with AWS Neptune, AWS Glue, ElasticSearch, and Oracle database products is beneficial
