Role Overview
As a Technical Product Manager at Morgan Personal Investing, you will take ownership of an internal operations domain, responsible for core functionality such as payments, client money and assets reconciliation, trading operations, customer PII management, and tax wrapper management. You will also manage key third-party stakeholders such as integration partners and strategic B2B clients, work autonomously with a development team to define and deliver your roadmap, and collaborate across the organisation to deliver strategically aligned product development while exceeding KPIs.
Key Responsibilities

- Communicate complex concepts to a variety of stakeholders with varying levels of detail.
- Define and manage a highly organised roadmap and supporting backlog to deliver products that positively impact customers and the business.
- Be passionate about the product development process, continuously improving product delivery for maximum effectiveness and efficiency.
- Promote innovation in product design while operating within a strong financial compliance regime.
- Take ultimate responsibility for product decisions and justify them to all levels of the business.
- Support and motivate engineering teams with clear, achievable deliverables and a strong technical aptitude, challenging engineering decisions when appropriate.
- Run assigned agile teams through iterative discovery and delivery sprint cycles.
- Participate in agile ceremonies: daily stand-ups, planning meetings, and retrospectives.
- Balance business and technical objectives, translating them into clear priorities for the engineering team.
- Serve as the glue among departments, creating shared understanding by translating ideas and concepts into technical or layman’s terms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or numerical discipline.
- Product management experience, preferably in financial services and ideally within wealth or asset management.
- Experience in financial services, wealth management, fintech, or wealthtech.
- Understanding of trading operations in a wealth management setting.
- Track record of successful delivery of complex projects, including knowledge of Scrum.
- Basic troubleshooting skills such as reviewing log files and writing basic SQL queries.
- Commercial acumen to build strong business cases that define the product’s success criteria.
