As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Technology and Digital Solutions division, you will drive the design, integration, and operational excellence of enterprise-wide external collaboration platforms. This role provides a unique opportunity to influence the future of digital collaboration across the organization and lead the transformation of how we engage with external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain resilient collaboration solutions that support secure external sharing and cross-organizational workflows.
- Manage identity and access configurations for external users, including Entra ID (Azure AD B2B), OAuth 2.0 flows, and conditional access policies.
- Evaluate and onboard new SaaS collaboration tools (e.g., VDRs, client portals) in line with security and compliance requirements.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement fixes for recurring issues to improve platform reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and user-friendly collaboration experiences.
- Contribute to proof‑of‑concepts and pilot initiatives that enhance external collaboration capabilities.
- Understand concepts for federated authentication via platforms such as Google Identity & Microsoft Entra ID.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities & Skills
- Formal training or certification on SaaS collaboration platforms concepts and proficient advanced experience.
- Strong hands‑on experience with:
- Microsoft 365 B2B collaboration and external sharing.
- Google Identity / Workspace.
- Virtual Data Rooms (e.g., Box.com, Intralinks, Datasite, Firmex, Debtdomain).
- PowerShell and/or Python scripting.
- Microsoft Graph API and/or Google APIs.
- Entra ID (Azure AD), app registration, and identity federation.
- OAuth 2.0 and secure authentication practices.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities & Skills
- Experience with modern development frameworks (e.g., Node.js, React, Java, or C#).
- Exposure to cloud‑native architectures and serverless computing.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Splunk, Datadog).
