As a Senior Associate in the Country Risk Reporting Team, you will play a crucial role in providing data and analytical reports on exposure and stress metrics to Country Risk Managers and Senior Management. As a Senior Associate, you will be tasked with providing data and analytical reports on exposure and stress metrics to support decision-making and risk management. You will collaborate with teams such as Country Risk Management, Credit Risk Management, and Technology to ensure comprehensive risk analysis and reporting.

  • Collect, aggregate, and analyze data to produce Country Reports.
  • Understand data flows and remediate data issues between source systems and the Country Risk Infrastructure.
  • Analyze stress scenarios and calculations.
  • Interact with Country Risk Management, Credit Risk Management, and other teams.
  • Report weekly Country Risk to Senior Management.
  • Participate in data collection and analysis for EMEA and APAC regions.
  • Assist in crisis monitoring and ad-hoc data collection.
  • Contribute to the improvement and automation of reporting processes.
  • Innovate by challenging processes and seeking efficiencies. Provide input in working groups to enhance data aggregation and reporting procedures.
  • Assess and review data quality. Partner with cross-functional teams to proactively identify and analyze issues.

Qualifications include:

  • Experience in Market Risk, Credit Risk, Product Control, or Financial Reporting.
  • Bachelor\’s degree in Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, Science, or Business-related area.
  • Understanding of financial products and cross-asset knowledge.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with a control focus.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and prioritize tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong Excel skills; knowledge of data science, analytics platforms, and data visualisation tools.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience with data science (e.g., Machine learning), analytics platforms (e.g., Alteryx), and data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau).
  • Proficiency in data analytics (e.g., Python).
  • Ability to influence change and address problems proactively with a control mindset.
