Job Description
Join our Corporate Compensation team as a Compensation Vice President, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping compensation strategies that drive business success. As a Compensation Vice President, you will serve as a strategic solutions provider and expert advisor to the business and HR partners. You will leverage in-depth knowledge of compensation principles, business needs, and market trends to deliver detailed analyses and models. Your role is key in supporting organizational goals through compensation strategy and execution.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support and advise on compensation activities, including offers, promotions, transfers, budgeting, and talent retention.
- Understand business challenges and priorities; analyze issues, identify root causes, and communicate solutions.
- Perform complex analyses and present findings to senior management.
- Provide clear advice and recommendations to facilitate informed compensation decisions and promote best practices.
- Collaborate with HR partners to enhance existing compensation programs, policies, and processes.
- Monitor market conditions to ensure competitive compensation plans.
- Translate regulatory and policy requirements into clear guidance for clients.
- Contribute to the EMEA Compensation Agenda, including regional regulatory activities.
- Participate in firmwide projects related to compensation policy reviews, practice changes, and system development.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience in HR, Compensation, or Finance with strong analytical skills.
- Self-motivated and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Proven consulting skills; ability to align HR/Compensation strategies with business goals.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build strong partnerships across teams.
- Strong analytical, planning, and project management skills.
- Technical skills to create presentations and analyses for senior leaders.
- Commitment to operational excellence and controls.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience with Business Objects is a plus.
- Active contribution to the EMEA Compensation Agenda, including regional activities.
