As a Transactor within Trade & Working Capital's Structured Working Capital team, you will be responsible for structuring, executing and managing structured receivables and inventory finance transactions. You will work closely with clients to understand their working capital objectives, identify opportunities and recommend customized structures. Collaborate with us on transactions ranging from bilateral receivables purchase structures to multibillion-dollar syndicated inventory financing, all designed to optimize our clients' global working capital flows.

Responsibilities

  • Works closely with the Trade Sales and Global Corporate Banking teams to recommend structured off-balance sheet solutions to enhance working capital position for clients within specific sectors.
  • Partners with finance, product, legal and risk functional colleagues to ensure seamless product delivery for structures which can be adapted to meet bespoke customer needs.
  • Supports senior members of the team to pitch, structure and execute transactions bringing innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Prepares and reviews data analysis including cash flow models, stress test models and other analytical tools.
  • Identifies opportunities and recommends customized financial structures.
  • Develops expertise in transaction execution including socializing with internal partners, preparing credit analysis and approval materials, leading approval discussions, guiding operational processes, and negotiating legal documentation.
  • Understands and assesses competition, capital markets, accounting, macroeconomic and regulatory dynamics.

Qualifications

  • Structuring and transaction experience, with strong working knowledge of corporate finance, corporate credit and legal risk.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work closely with clients, understand their needs, and develop customized financial solutions.
  • Proactive mindset with capability to identify issues and develop solutions independently.
  • Strong understanding of financial modeling, structuring, and analysis.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.
  • Innovative thinking to bring solutions to complex problems.
  • Effective communication for pitching, structuring, and executing transactions, as well as leading approval discussions.
  • Capability to support senior team members and guide operational processes.
