• Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others.
• Drives decisions that influence the product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes.
• Serves as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus.
• Actively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle.

Hands-on full stack development experience, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership or lead developer role.

Expert proficiency in React, TypeScript, modern JavaScript (ES6), HTML5, and CSS3, with a track record of building accessible, high-performance, production-grade interfaces.

Experience integrating APIs or services into front-end applications and building enterprise grade systems using Java, Python, AWS.

Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.

Advanced in one or more programming languages.

Advanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.).

Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight.

Practical cloud native experience.

Experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.

Preferred qualifications:

• Demonstrated leadership working with engineers, product, stakeholders.
• Knowledge of best practices for building user experiences that incorporate generative and agentic AI.
• Practical experience applying generative AI and agentic workflows to accelerate development (e.g., AI-assisted code and test generation, refactoring, documentation), with strong judgment, governance, and quality control over AI-produced outputs.
• Experience optimising performance and reliability of AI-powered user interfaces & proficiency in React framework.
• Understanding of REST APIs and GraphQL.
• Comfortable working with projects partially or fully using TypeScript & using latest React features such as Suspense and Hooks.
• End to end testing applications.
