As a Liquidity and Treasury Controller Senior Associate within the Treasury and Chief Investment Office (TCIO), you will be responsible for funding and liquidity risk management of the organization worldwide. You will also ensure the overall integrity and accuracy of the financial statements, liquidity reporting, regulatory returns, and adherence to regulatory and financial/accounting standards. You will interact day-to-day with Line of Businesses (LOBs) and other corporate groups to provide a clear and detailed understanding of Treasury requirements around liquidity and funding risk on new initiatives.

  • Prepare liquidity reporting for TCIO EMEA (daily, monthly, quarterly regulatory reporting such as 6G, US LCR, NSFR, FRY-15, etc.).
  • Control and reconcile collateral, money markets and other funding management positions impacting liquidity reporting.
  • Monitor and investigate breaks arising from daily reconciliations of Risk Management Systems vs Subledger vs General Ledger.
  • Execute month-end ledger close for P&L and Balance Sheet, and resolve breaks if any.
  • Conduct analytical reviews and prepare commentaries with key business drivers for overall P&L and Balance Sheet, including collateral and funding movements; present results during review meetings with senior management.
  • Complete quarter-end regulatory submissions like FAS 107, FAS 157, FAS 161, Deposit reporting, Derivatives notional reporting, etc.
  • Partner with other TCIO regional controller teams (NA/APAC), providing transparency on funding changes, new initiatives, and relevant period-over-period variances.
  • Perform Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) analytics and ensure the FTP process is followed.
  • Participate in projects and strategic initiatives impacting ledger and liquidity reporting, such as NBIA's, system migration and LRI monthly release agenda; including impact analysis, requirement specification and involvement in UAT/regression testing.
  • Automate and enhance existing processes to achieve global consistency and increase efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with front office, middle office, technology, Finance and other personnel as necessary to ensure timely, accurate and well-controlled completion of responsibilities.

Educated to degree level (in business, economics, finance or accounting). Experience in financial services with knowledge of investment securities, money markets, repo/reverse repo, and FX. Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail. Proficiency in MS Excel. Highly numerate with a methodical approach to problem solving. Strong relationship building and communication skills. Excellent time management and organization skills. Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA).
