J.P. Morgan's Commodities Technology team is seeking a proactive and creative Communications Analyst VP. In this role, you will help shape and deliver the narrative for our technology strategy, transformation initiatives, and day-to-day successes. You will partner with technology leaders, product managers, and engineering teams to craft clear, engaging communications that drive alignment, engagement, and visibility across the Commodities business and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver compelling communications for internal audiences, including executive updates, newsletters, technology announcements, and leadership presentations.
- Translate complex technology and project information into accessible, audience-appropriate narratives for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support Commodities Technology leadership with speechwriting, talking points, and presentation materials for town halls, steering committees, and senior forums.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to gather content, understand objectives, and ensure messaging aligns with business priorities.
- Maintain editorial calendars and coordinate communications campaigns and initiatives across Commodities Technology.
- Track and analyze communication effectiveness, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Ensure all communications adhere to J.P. Morgan's brand, compliance, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in a communications, PR, or related role (financial services or technology preferred).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; strong storytelling and editing abilities.
- Experience creating executive-ready materials (presentations, speeches, newsletters) for technology or business audiences.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel); experience with digital communication tools a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- Collaborative team player with strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities & Skills
- Experience supporting technology or transformation programs in a large organization.
- Familiarity with internal communications platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence, Yammer).
- Experience with visual storytelling or basic graphic design (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) a plus.
- Understanding of commodities markets or financial technology is advantageous.
