Based in London, the successful analyst will be a core member of the FIG team, working closely with an experienced team of Managing Directors, Executive Directors, and a Vice President who are the coverage bankers for some of the firm's largest bank, insurance, and other financial institution clients. The successful candidate will be challenged to perform at the highest levels of excellence and will be rewarded for his/her achievements in a demanding environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing and coordinating the approval and execution of credit transactions, including loan return modelling, developing the commercial business case, supporting credit and balance sheet approval, and oversight of the documentation execution process.
  • Working with product partners including Debt Capital Markets, Treasury Services, Markets, Investor Services, and Asset Management to market materials/pitches and support the execution of their transactions.
  • Assisting in client portfolio management, including preparing industry financial analysis, relationship reviews and account plans, maintaining revenue tracking and business opportunity reports, and assisting with know your customer requirements.

Key Qualifications:

  • Trusted team player.

  • Strong academic record.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills including Excel based modelling.
  • Fluency in English essential.
  • Previous business experience in Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, Credit or Treasury Services is advantageous.
  • Some comfort with financial statements helpful.
