As a Custody Operations Transformation Analyst, you will join a dynamic team focused on delivering innovative solutions and process enhancements. You'll collaborate with colleagues across the business and help shape the future of our Custody Operations. You support the delivery of strategic projects that enhance processes, technology, and controls within Custody Operations. You work closely with stakeholders across the Commercial & Investment Bank to identify opportunities for improvement, document business requirements, and help implement solutions that drive operational excellence. Together, we deliver meaningful change and support the firm's commitment to client service and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing and executing complex projects, ensuring deliverables are met with appropriate due diligence and system integration for Custody & Middle Office Services.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across front office, product development, middle office, core operations, technology, and finance, including global partners in APAC and EMEA.
  • Support governance activities such as IAS charter reviews, materiality assessments, exit plans, and annual governance questionnaires.
  • Monitor industry trends and contribute to recommendations for strategic technology implementations.
  • Help analyze system infrastructure and process flows to identify gaps and opportunities for productivity and efficiency.
  • Document business requirements by working with operations and client‑facing teams, and communicate these to technology and product development partners.
  • Track and report project milestones and timelines, providing updates to project stakeholders.
  • Participate in meetings at both operational and project levels, offering feedback on project status, user acceptance testing, and production deployment.
  • Support business units in developing and executing acceptance test plans for successful implementation.
  • Prepare summary presentations and overview materials for program stakeholders.
  • Identify and elevate issues as appropriate, supporting timely resolution and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Custody Operations, Client Service, or Middle Office roles within financial services.
  • Exposure to strategic change initiatives or process improvement projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in preparing presentations and summary materials for stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with the trade transaction lifecycle, cash management, and corporate actions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of AI/ML or blockchain technology in operational environments.
  • Experience with IAS charter maintenance, materiality assessments, exit plans, or governance questionnaires.
  • Experience documenting business requirements and supporting technology or product teams.
  • Exposure to business process re‑engineering or location strategy initiatives.
