As an AI Product Director at JPMorganChase within the Commercial and Investment Banking Operations team, you will leverage your AI and leadership expertise to lead large areas of our AI strategy, guide product managers and engineers through strategy and execution, and drive our most business‑critical initiatives to deliver key results.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive AI & agentic product strategy for a large area of bank operations, focused on measurable KPI improvements.
- Identify and prioritize high impact use cases where AI and agentic services improve operational outcomes and business metrics.
- Own portfolio roadmaps and PRDs for flagship initiatives and enabling platform capabilities.
- Lead teams of product managers, setting direction, coaching, and raising overall product execution quality.
- Lead cross‑functional teams and leads through technical and non‑technical decisions from concept to launch.
- Develop and execute delivery plans including requirements, resourcing, timelines, dependencies, and risk management to ensure predictable outcomes.
- Collaborate with executive stakeholders including Executive Directors & Managing Directors to drive alignment, secure buy‑in, and unblock decisions.
- Stay current on AI innovation and agentic practices to ensure the organization builds with modern approaches.
Qualifications
- Advanced experience in product management or a related technical leadership role, or formal training or certification in product management concepts and strong applied experience.
- Demonstrated success delivering AI enabled products and leading complex programs in large, matrixed organizations.
- Familiarity with AI model architectures, mostly large language models (LLMs), optimization techniques such as prompting, context engineering, and AI frameworks such as RAG and agentic pipelines.
- Excellent stakeholder management, structured thinking, and ability to tie product work to business outcomes, comfort operating in organizational complexity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in computer science or another relevant engineering discipline.
- Proven track record delivering and launching successful products at scale, including time‑sensitive timelines.
- Experience motivating and aligning others at all levels through strong roadmaps and a shared sense of purpose.
- Strong delivery leadership, takes initiative, manages ambiguity, and produces consistent outcomes.
- Ability to balance detailed technical guidance with big‑picture strategy.
- Experience collaborating across organizations and product areas to get complex initiatives delivered.
