The JPMorganChase Art Collection was established in 1959 by David Rockefeller who believed art elevates the experience of working at and doing business with the firm. The Corporate Art team upholds the founding vision of “Art At Work,” focusing on emerging artists globally and deploying legacy artworks of which we are stewards. As JPMC grows and expands, our team furnishes JPMC buildings with artworks, primarily in client-facing and employee exchange spaces. The Corporate Art Collection reflects the firm’s business and social values, as well as the cultures and geographies of every region and market in which we operate.
Our biggest partner for projects is Global Real Estate with which we have a robust and expanding book of work. We serve all Lines of Business globally and also are a resource for client engagements. As a Corporate Communications function, we also partner with other Corporate departments as there are significant logistics and processes on the back end of our curatorial work: Finance, Legal, CAO, Compliance, Controls and other Communications teams.
Our team has 3 pillars, Curatorial, Business Management, and Operations with team based in New York City, Chicago, and London and our book of work is global. As a Business & Project Manager - Vice President in Art Collection department you will be responsible for program and project management, operational excellence, financial oversight, and vendor management. You will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive project delivery, process improvement, and operational effectiveness for EMEA region.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage GRE programs and projects, ensuring operational efficiency, adherence to best practices, and achievement of objectives and timelines.
- Develop, implement, and enhance operational processes for greater effectiveness and efficiency.
- Maintain and improve database systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date records for all projects and operational activities.
- Oversee budgets in partnership with the Business Management Team to maintain financial organization, and ensure transparency and accuracy in all financial matters.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors, managing relationships and contracts.
- Prepare and present reports, analyses, and updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources effectively.
- Foster a culture of organization, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
Required qualifications, skills and capabilities
- Proven experience in program management, project management, or operations at a VP or senior management level.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong project management capabilities with a track record of successful program delivery.
- Experience overseeing budgets and managing financials.
- Advanced database management skills; proficiency with relevant software and tools.
- Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and present findings to leadership.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and contracts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and levels.
Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities
- Experience working in a global, cross-functional environment is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
