As a Business Analyst within JPMorgan Chase, you will play a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency and driving strategic initiatives. Your expertise in cross‑functional collaboration will enable you to work effectively with diverse teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

You will be responsible for:

  • Planning and directing work, making decisions that impact departmental outcomes, and managing complex situations.
  • Defining a high‑level scope, planning, and estimating project requests to establish stakeholder expectations and create and/or review project requirements, development, and testing.
  • Working in a collaborative multi‑year program and defining business requirements from an operations perspective.
  • Coordinating cross‑functional collaboration, working effectively with diverse teams across the organization to align efforts, share knowledge, and drive the successful implementation of business strategies.
  • Assessing the impact of every project on the operations processes from requirements to deployment.
  • Utilizing strategic thinking to evaluate potential scenarios, assess risks, and make informed decisions that directly impact departmental outcomes.
  • Participating in incident management during system issues.
  • Reviewing business requirements submitted by Product to ascertain operations procedures and impacts due to manual and exception processes.
  • Providing scenarios to UAT and QA for testing purposes, monitoring user acceptance testing, and reviewing defects raised to assess their impact on Operations.
  • Assisting in documenting the operations procedure and providing training to the operations teams on new functionalities.
  • Escalating issues and challenges as they arise.
  • Participating in each stage of the project delivery, from requirements to deployment and implementation.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in a similar environment.
  • Proven ability to coordinate cross‑functional collaboration, with experience in working with diverse teams across an organization.
  • Knowledge of Liquidity and Accounts products.
  • Advanced strategic thinking skills, with a track record of evaluating potential scenarios, assessing risks, and making informed decisions.
  • Ability to craft clear and effective writing to guide analysis and ensure consistent outcomes.
  • Quality stakeholder engagement through timely and effective communication.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate internally and externally at all levels.
  • Strong networking and interpersonal skills, forming positive working relationships in a matrix management and multicultural environment.
  • Ability to lead and work independently on assigned projects.
  • Understanding of software delivery lifecycle and skills in industry‑standard methodologies and related tasks.
  • Competence in technology/process release management, with proficiency in using software applications, digital platforms, and other technological tools to solve problems and improve processes.
  • Knowledge of automation tools will be an added advantage.
