Join the Regulatory Strategy team as a Product Analyst. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of technology, product management, and regulatory analytics, collaborating across the firm with Lines of Business/Functions, Control Management, Compliance, Risk, Technology, Finance, and Audit. You will develop expertise in the firm’s regulatory agenda and gain a comprehensive understanding of governance at a firm-wide level.
As a Product Analyst within the Regulatory Strategy team, you will play a key role in supporting the firm’s Regulatory Engagement Platform and Regulatory Letter Repository. You will work closely with Product Owners to define and prioritise product backlogs, design innovative features, and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet customer needs and align with strategic objectives. You will need to possess strong data analytics capabilities, experience with agile methodologies, and a passion for improving user experience and product performance.
Job Responsibilities- Support the Product Owners in defining and communicating product vision and strategy to stakeholders and development teams.
- Write and prioritise stories while maintaining the product backlog to ensure it aligns with customer needs and business priorities.
- Conduct and lead refinement discussions, ensuring clarity and precision in story writing.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure product quality and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, technology, UX, to gather requirements and ensure alignment on product goals.
- Support innovation agenda; evaluate technology to automate data capture and improve quality.
- Design and build end-to-end reporting and analytics solutions for regulatory engagement, issues, and requests.
- Assist with automating new and existing reporting from multiple source systems using data transformation and visualization tools.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners and stakeholders across the firm.
- Respond to frequent product, systems, reporting and analytics requests, including ad-hoc queries from various levels of stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Business, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Extensive experience in product management, data analytics, or a related role in an agile environment.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working with Scrum teams.
- Experience with JIRA for backlog management and workflow tracking.
- Strong background in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of working across the firm with technology teams and business stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with the principles and techniques of prompt engineering.
- Ability to multitask and manage tight delivery timelines in a dynamic environment.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work well under pressure with a strong sense of accountability.
- Proficiency in data transformation and visualization tools such as Alteryx, Tableau.
- Background in Technology.
- Experience with SQL, Python (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, stats models), and data mining techniques.
- Familiarity with machine learning APIs, open-source models, and prompt engineering principles.
- Experience with MS SQL Server, Oracle, Hadoop, or other Big Data platforms.
