As a Collateral Management Associate in Agency Securities Finance, you will manage intraday exposures from new lending activity, and daily revaluations, partnering with a wide network of internal and external stakeholders. Your work will cover multiple different processes, with deadlines to be met throughout your workday in a fast-paced and controls-oriented environment.
Job responsibilities:
- Process and settle daily collateral trades with accuracy and care.
- Calculate non‑cash and cash collateral exposures; partner with the borrower community to ensure correct margins are maintained.
- Manage cash flows, including manual payment processing when needed.
- Perform daily reconciliations and report on intraday and end‑of‑day items.
- Resolve cash breaks and track items through to timely closure.
- Collaborate closely with trading desks, triparty agents, Treasury Services, and counterparties to ensure smooth settlement.
- Handle a high volume of queries on products, collateral settlement, and reconciliation breaks, communicating clearly and constructively.
- Build strong client relationships and partner with relationship managers to meet and manage client expectations.
