As a Trading Associate on the EMEA Equity Trading Desk, you will execute trades in equity and equity-linked instruments across EMEA markets. You’ll collaborate with Portfolio Managers, technology, and analytics teams to enhance trading execution and strategies. In this role, you will manage trading costs, communicate market insights, and build strong relationships with the brokerage community. Your work will help deliver the best outcomes for our clients and support the ongoing evolution of our trading platform.
Job responsibilities
- Execute orders for internal clients across J.P. Morgan Asset Management in equity and equity-linked instruments.
- Manage and monitor trading costs and market impact to ensure optimal execution.
- Collaborate with Technology and Trading Analytics teams to drive data-driven improvements in trading strategies.
- Communicate effectively with Portfolio Managers on execution strategies and intra-trade market insights.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the brokerage community as a representative of J.P. Morgan Asset Management.
- Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of trading tools and processes.
- Operate across both single stock specialist and systematic trading teams.
- Support the delivery of the lowest total cost of implementation for investors.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance in all trading activities.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Demonstrated interest in financial markets and trading.
- Ambitious self-starter with the ability to think and operate independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in presenting findings and trade insights.
