Join our team as an Accessibility Lead for the Salt Design System, where you\βll play a key role in developing and maintaining an inclusive and accessible design system. With a strong background in accessibility standards and usability evaluation, you\βll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our design system supports the diverse needs of our users and incorporates accessible design patterns.
As the Accessibility Lead within the Salt Design System, you will:
- Integrate accessibility best practices into our design system, ensuring core components and design patterns are usable by individuals with diverse abilities.
- Conduct usability evaluations and accessibility assessments, identifying areas for improvement and providing actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with design, development, and product teams to define and implement accessible design patterns and guidelines.
- Advocate for accessibility and inclusive design principles across the organization, guiding teams in adopting accessible patterns.
- Stay informed about industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to accessibility, ensuring compliance.
