Join our product design team and help deliver the next generation of digital product experiences for JPMorgan's Global Banking organization. As a Product Design Lead, you will be responsible for a collection of products that deliver high-value enterprise capabilities across multiple business functions. You’ll work in a collaborative and dynamic environment, partnering closely with product, engineering, and data science teams to create elegant solutions for highly complex business problems. The products you craft will be forward-thinking, refined, usable, and relevant to the organization's holistic end-to-end value streams.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead product design initiatives, developing a deep understanding of the problem space, business needs, and user goals to ensure positive outcomes are achieved.
- Foster strong relationships with local and global, multidisciplinary teams of designers, product managers, engineers, data scientists, researchers, and subject matter experts.
- Collaborate on generative and evaluative research studies.
- Create concepts, prototypes, storyboards, and presentations to showcase product vision and elicit buy-in from key stakeholders.
- Define detailed designs and specifications that include complex workflows, interactions, states, and information- and data-rich desktop, browser, and mobile experiences.
- Leverage and enhance our organization's mature design system to ensure consistent, cohesive experiences across our web, mobile, and native applications.
- Demonstrate thought leadership across the broader team regarding best practices, opportunities to optimize operations, and elevate quality.
Required Qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience working with complex data across multiple platforms (e.g., products, websites, mobile apps, etc.).
- Ability to communicate abstract design concepts visually and verbally in a clear and engaging manner, using storytelling to explain ideas.
- 6+ years of experience designing digital products and services for enterprise solutions.
- Experience leveraging methodologies that lead to learning and decision-making through concepting, storyboarding, and prototyping.
- Experience in the application of design systems such as Google's Material Design.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in User Experience (UX) Design, Product Design, Interaction Design, Service Design, Visual Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or related fields.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience incorporating artificial intelligence into your working process and designing AI-enabled solutions.
- Familiarity with financial terminology.

- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
