About the Company
Our client is an established and growing specialist construction contractor delivering high-quality projects across London.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an organised and proactive
Contracts / Project Administrator to support their operational team from their Paddington office.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous construction administration or document control experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to develop their career within a successful business.
The Role
Working closely with the Contracts Managers and Project Teams, you'll play a key role in keeping projects organised, ensuring documentation is accurate and supporting the successful delivery of multiple live construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to Contracts Managers and Project Teams.
- Manage project documentation and maintain document control systems.
- Upload, issue and track drawings, specifications and technical documents.
- Maintain accurate electronic filing systems and project records.
- Coordinate project correspondence with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
- Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes and distribute actions.
- Update project trackers and monitor document status.
- Assist with compiling Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals and project handover documentation.
- Support procurement administration, purchase orders and supplier documentation where required.
- Produce reports and spreadsheets using Microsoft Office.
- Ensure all documentation complies with company procedures and quality standards.
About You
You'll be highly organised, have excellent attention to detail and enjoy supporting busy project teams.
Ideally you'll have
- Previous experience in a Construction Administrator, Project Administrator or Document Controller role.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience using document management systems such as Viewpoint, Aconex, Procore, Asite or similar (desirable).
- Excellent communication and organisational skills. Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to support multiple projects simultaneously.
