We are working with a well-established contractor with a turnover of circa £50m, who are looking to appoint a Site Manager to deliver a varied portfolio of projects across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Essex. This role offers a broader range of works, including small demolition packages, new build, refurbishment and maintenance schemes, typically ranging from £100k up to £1.5m. Projects are fast-moving and diverse, so the ability to adapt and manage different types of work is essential. While the role is based out of Luton, you will be expected to travel across the region, with occasional requirements to work further afield and stay away when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing projects from pre-start through to completion
- Overseeing a range of works including demolition, new build, refurbishment and maintenance
- Coordinating subcontractors and site teams
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget
- Maintaining strong client relationships and providing regular updates
- Managing site logistics and programme
Requirements:
- Experience as a Site Manager across a mix of project types
- Comfortable managing projects up to £1.5m
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Willingness to travel across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Essex
- Flexibility to stay away from home when required
- Full UK driving licence
