A well-established Passive and Active Fire Protection Contractor based in West London is looking to appoint a Project Manager to oversee fire protection works across multiple sites in London.
This role will suit a Project Manager with experience delivering fire safety installations and maintenance works, working closely with site teams, clients, and compliance requirements.
The Role
- Managing multiple fire protection projects across London
- Overseeing passive fire works (fire stopping, fire doors, compartmentation)
- Managing active fire systems (fire alarms, sprinklers, smoke control, AOVs)
- Delivering both new installations and maintenance / remedial works
- Programming works, coordinating labour and specialist subcontractors
- Ensuring works meet fire safety standards, specifications, and certification requirements
- Liaising with main contractors, consultants, and end clients
- Managing variations, progress reporting, and handovers
Requirements
- Experience as a Project Manager within Fire Protection, Passive Fire, or Active Fire Systems
- Strong knowledge of fire safety compliance and installation standards
- Experience managing live construction and occupied buildings
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Good communication and organisational skills
- SMSTS / SSSTS preferred (not essential)
