Senior Estimator
Location: WestLondon (Office Based)
Salary: Competitive + Package
An established and respected main contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join its growing Pre-Construction team.
The successful candidate will lead tenders across a varied portfolio of refurbishment, maintenance and new build projects ranging from £50,000 to £10 million, playing a key role in securing future work and supporting continued business growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead competitive tenders from initial enquiry through to submission.
- Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
- Prepare accurate cost plans and pricing strategies.
- Obtain and negotiate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Identify project risks and value engineering opportunities.
- Prepare comprehensive tender submissions.
- Attend client meetings and pre-construction discussions.
- Work closely with Operational and Commercial teams during handover.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator with a UK main contractor.
- Strong knowledge of refurbishment, maintenance and new build projects.
- Excellent commercial awareness.
- Able to manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience producing successful competitive tenders.
