To meet our increasing workload and expanding client base we are currently seeking an Infrastructure Technician for our Leeds office.

The candidate should be able to demonstrate a proven ability to coordinate projects and communicate effectively with design team members and be technically competent with the design of drainage systems to current design standards.

Candidates will be looking to bring value to our business in return for further career progression to senior management or Director level within a progressive consultancy. Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year experience.
  • Ability to deliver projects from conception to completion, and work within a multi-disciplinary consultancy.
  • Sound technical skills and willingness to learn.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Software experience in AutoCAD and InfraDrainage and Autocad Civils 3D is essential.
  • A background in drainage design is essential, earthworks and highways are also desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing plans and drawings at all stages of the development (concept through to construction).
  • Producing design drawings for technical approvals and construction.
  • Ability to carry out infrastructure design on AutoCAD and/or Civils 3D software.
  • Managing document recording (incoming and outgoing).

Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to communicate in a clear and concise way with colleagues and clients.
  • Ability to apply problem‑solving skills.
  • Must hold a valid driving licence.

  • In depth knowledge of the construction industry and a passion for the built environment.

  • Flexible Working Day- Core Hours 8:30 – 5:00 – with flexibility of 1 hour either side (common sense flexibility).
  • Flexible lunch period- 1hr between 12-2pm.
  • Company vehicle/car allowance provided depending on role.

  • Min 25 days leave + Bank holidays, which increases with length of service.
