JPE Electrical Services are looking for an Approved Electrician to join the team. This role is for someone who knows their way around commercial and industrial environments, can work off their own initiative and takes pride in doing jobs right first time not cutting corners.

What you'll be doing:

  • Electrical installations across commercial and industrial sites, primarily petrol filling stations
  • Working on a mix of projects including local authority work, solar, and EV installs
  • Carrying out testing, inspection, and fault finding as well as installations
  • Reading and working from drawings and schematics
  • Completing all required certification and documentation properly
  • Working alongside other trades on-site

What we're looking for (non-negotiables):

  • Fully qualified with minimum Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installation
  • 18th Edition (BS 7671)
  • Proven experience in commercial / industrial environments
  • Confident with testing, inspection, and fault finding
  • Experience with 3-phase systems
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence

Strong advantages (but not essential):

  • 2391 Inspection & Testing
  • JIB Gold Card
  • Solar / EV installation experience (If you don't have 2391 but have solid experience, we can support you getting it.)
