JPCD are hiring for various roles to join our growing team, including the following:

  • An experienced Foreman – Groundworker (suited to someone who can lead by example, manage small site teams, and carry out a wide range of groundwork tasks safely and efficiently.)
  • Groundworkers
  • Labourers

We have various sized projects all across the island, so knowledge of the area will also be beneficial. JPCD have been established since 2008, in this time we have built strong foundations, a great working culture and formed an amazing team, now we would like to add to that! We are looking for self-motivated people to join our reputable team. You must be proactive, result driven and adaptable with a strong working ethic to lead by example. Key Responsibilities

Depending on the position you are applying for, the key responsibilities vary:

  • Foreman - Supervising and working with a team of groundworkers, carrying out groundwork duties, including but not limited to; drainage, concrete works, excavation, roadworks and civil engineering. Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and on schedule, maintaining site safety and ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations, conducting daily briefings and assisting with RAMS, operating plant and machinery where required.
  • Groundworker – Carrying out groundwork duties, including but not limited to; drainage, concrete works, excavation, roadworks and civil engineering. Ensuring work is complete to a high standard and on schedule, operating plant and machinery when required (if trained), complying with all site rules and regulations.
  • Labourer – Helping across all areas of construction and groundworks and complying with all site rules and regulations.

Requirements

  • Foreman - Proven experience
  • Foreman & Groundworker - Strong knowledge of groundworks environments
  • Foreman - Ability to manage and motivate a site team
  • SMSTS or SSSTS (advantageous for foreman)
  • Valid CSCS card (advantageous)
  • CPCS/NPORS plant tickets (advantageous)
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Self-motivated and reliable
