Role Description
The Conveyancer will be able to independently manage a high caseload of property transactions from instruction through to completion.
This would include; sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, commercial leases and residential tenancy's.
Daily responsibilities include drafting and reviewing contracts, conducting title checks and due diligence, preparing property reports, liaising with clients, opponents, estate agents and lenders, and ensuring all legal documentation is accurate and compliant.
The role involves providing clear legal advice on issues, identifying and mitigating risks, and maintaining detailed case records in line with firm policies and regulatory standards.
The Conveyancer will also contribute to process improvements, support junior team members where needed, and uphold excellent client service.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in the City of Nottingham. Hybrid working may be negotiated.
Qualifications
- A solicitor and able to practice in the UK.
- Strong foundation in Law with at least 3 years' experience in property conveyancing including commercial leases.
- Proficiency in Legal Consulting, providing clear, practical advice to clients on conveyancing and related legal issues.
- Experience in Legal Document Preparation, including leases, contracts, transfer deeds, reports on title, and completion statements.
- Effective Communication skills for managing client relationships and coordinating on legal issues.
- Attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple files and deadlines simultaneously.
- Familiarity with case management systems, Land Registry processes, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a legal team and maintain high ethical and professional standards.
