A successful, established, innovation-focused European OEM is seeking a General Manager for the UK & ROI. The Company’s product portfolio is highly sought-after in the UK and Irish markets, distributed by a proactive and high-performing dealer network.
Industry: Agricultural machinery
Location: UK (with regular travel, both within the UK and overseas)
Role Overview: Reporting directly to the Group CCO, you will be fully accountable for the delivery and execution of annual sales plans to achieve agreed revenue and growth objectives. Maintaining and developing first-class dealer relationships is pivotal to the success of the role, along with ensuring that excellent standards of product support and customer service are upheld at all times.
Qualities and Experience Required:
- Significant experience in managing B2B or B2C sales activities with a demonstrated history of exceeding commercial targets.
- Thorough knowledge of and significant career experience within the agricultural equipment sector, along with a good understanding of everyday farming activities.
- First-class sales management credentials with well-developed team leadership skills and a proven ability in driving sales and growth objectives.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to negotiate and influence commercial decisions, professionally representing a premium brand at all levels.
- Excellent knowledge of the UK and ROI dealer network, understanding their challenges and working in partnership towards agreed objectives.
- Strong analytical skills, capable of identifying and reacting to market trends and new opportunities ahead of the competition, backed up by comprehensive knowledge of the competitive landscape.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, thriving in a small team environment with flexibility, a collaborative spirit, and a down-to-earth attitude.
- Natural enterprising and driven nature that positively enthuses those around you to achieve high performance levels.
- Clean driving license, residing centrally within the UK (ideally in East Anglia), and comfortable with regular travel, including overseas.
