Our client is one of the UK’s leading niche environmental consultancies, specialising in air quality, noise, vibration, lighting, daylight/sunlight, building acoustics, flood risk, contaminated land, and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA).
They seek a Senior Acoustic Consultant to join them and work on diverse projects including noise investigation at power stations, nuisance complaints, court evidence, and assessments for various clients. The role is based on a hybrid basis from their Reading Office, contributing to technical and commercial aspects of our UK acoustics business.
Candidates should have:
- Corporate membership of the Institute of Acoustics
- Strong technical knowledge and report writing skills
- At least three years’ relevant experience
- A full driving license
- Independence and teamwork skills
We utilise advanced noise and vibration measurement tools, noise modelling with CadnaA, and in-house prediction tools. Salary depends on experience but sits between £45-55k per annum.
