Working closely with the Head of IPB Solutions, you will play a central role in running the operating rhythm of the business, driving the strategic initiatives agenda, and ensuring leadership has the insight and materials needed to make timely decisions. This is a broad and highly visible role that combines organisational management, executive reporting, and strategic project management and governance.
You will act as a key connector across regions and lines of business, keeping workstreams joined up, surfacing risks early, and driving actions through to closure.
Success in this role requires strong organisational discipline, excellent communication skills, and the ability to produce clear, executive-ready materials under tight timelines.
Job responsibilitiesSupport the Head of IPB Solutions and your manager on the organisational management agenda, including headcount and expense planning, budget cycles and organisational updatesPrepare clear, executive-ready materials for leadership meetings, governance forums and senior reviewsProduce regular management updates and reporting for the Head of IPB Solutions and the leadership teamTrack and close out actions and decisions from leadership and management meetingsRun the operating rhythm of the business: schedule and coordinate working sessions, prepare materials, capture actions and owners, and drive follow-up to closureMaintain central documentation, trackers and templates so the team works in a consistent, repeatable wayCoordinate across regions and lines of business so that workstreams stay joined upRaise risks, issues and dependencies early and take them through the right escalation pathsMaintain governance across the strategic initiatives portfolio, including workplans, milestones, dependencies and decision trackersSupport prioritisation management, including intake tracking, initiative taxonomy, sequencing, and capacity and impact viewsProduce monthly portfolio reporting covering status, key risks and issues, decisions required and upcoming milestonesCoordinate engagement across lines of business and regions for partnership and large client initiativesRequired qualifications, capabilities and skillsStrong programme management fundamentals, including workplan development and management, stakeholder communication, minutes and actions discipline, and status reportingComfortable working directly with senior leaders and handling confidential information with discretion Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and drive follow-through across regions and workstreamsAble to balance project and organisational management, operational and strategic work at the same time, with shifting prioritiesExperience in a business management, project management, strategy or similar role, ideally in financial services, is beneficial.
Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to turn complex information into concise, executive-ready updatesHighly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlinesAdvanced Excel and PowerPoint skillsBachelor's degree or equivalent practical experienceJ.P.
