Portfolio managers are responsible for investment outcomes by constructing and managing portfolios to provide investment returns in accordance with client goals.Role DescriptionThis is a portfolio management role within the EMAP Equities team (Emerging Markets and Asia Pacific).

The role is a co-portfolio manager on the India funds, working closely with the lead portfolio manager and product analysts to generate performance for clients.

This role is based in LondonResponsibilitiesAssist lead manager with all aspects of managing the India funds.

This includes:Working closely with EMAP team analysts on stock ideas, following the established investment processContributing on idea generation for portfoliosHelping to manage portfolios, taking into account stock ideas, sector tilts, risk considerationsClient communication Core skills and experience8+ years of experience of in investing in Indian equities, preferably on the buy sideStrong grasp of fundamental/bottom-up investing, including a well-defined process and a first principles mindset Desire to contribute investment ideas while following a disciplined and consistent frameworkAbility to work in a team environment and collaborate well with other portfolio managers and analystsGood balance of intellectual curiosity, decision making capability and ability to think clearly in a volatile market environmentJ.P.
