Overview
In this role, you drive the multi-cloud delivery of Atlas 2.0, the JP Morgan cloud control plane, across AWS, Azure, GCP and private clouds. You will lead through influence in a matrixed environment, shaping a scalable platform and managed service model to accelerate migration readiness and value realization for internal customers. You work with engineering, product, and risk teams to ensure operability, resilience, and adoption readiness, delivering decision-quality materials for senior stakeholders. This is a high-impact role at scale, with a clear focus on governance, automation, and cross-cloud enablement.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end multi-cloud workstream delivery for Atlas 2.0 across AWS/Azure/GCP, prioritizing based on roadmap and demand.
- Translate strategy into execution by building integrated delivery plans with milestones, dependencies, and adoption readiness.
- Own delivery cadence and operating rhythm, including roadmap tracking, sprint/release alignment, and delivery health metrics.
- Partner with engineering to deliver control-plane capabilities (Networking, IAM, inventory/asset discovery, policy/guardrails).
- Provide hands-on technical programme leadership, challenging designs to ensure operability and adoption readiness.
- Build and scale a managed service operating model, including onboarding/offboarding, service tiers, and cross-team ownership.
- Drive operational readiness (Day 2) with support models, runbooks, SLAs/SLOs, and incident/change interfaces.
- Produce executive-ready governance materials and run governance forums and steerco meetings.
- Maintain audit-ready PMO discipline with RAID, documentation standards, and traceability from roadmap to delivery.
- Scale delivery tooling with Jira and Monday.com, establishing standard work management across workstreams.
- Identify opportunities for AI-assisted delivery efficiency within JPMorganChase-approved tooling.
Key requirements
- Significant experience leading complex infrastructure/platform programmes in a large enterprise (financial services preferred).
- Hands-on cloud engineering background with senior programme/workstream leadership experience.
- Proven delivery in at least one public cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP) focused on infrastructure platform capabilities.
- Strong depth in networking, IAM, and inventory/asset management (or similar control-plane capabilities).
- Experience building and scaling managed services/platform engineering products for internal customers.
- Strong executive stakeholder management and ability to influence without authority.
- Demonstrated PMO discipline: RAID, dependency management, documentation, audit readiness.
