Overview

In this role you drive the Cloud Infrastructure product to deliver scalable and reliable infrastructure for engineering teams within J.P. Morgan Personal Investing. You own the end-to-end product life cycle, partner with cross-functional teams, and translate customer needs into a compelling roadmap. You’ll balance business and technical objectives to improve cost, reliability, and customer experience. The position offers you a chance to shape fintech infrastructure at scale and work with a collaborative, mission-driven squad.

Responsibilities

  • Articulate a clear product strategy for the Cloud Infrastructure area aligned with firm objectives
  • Lead discovery, market research, and integrate findings into the product roadmap
  • Own and maintain a prioritized product backlog supporting the strategic roadmap
  • Define success metrics (cost, features, risk, reliability) and track them
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering, Compliance, Operations, Investments
  • Define an organised roadmap and backlog to maximize business impact
  • Drive continuous improvement of the product development process for maximum team effectiveness
  • Balance business and technical priorities and translate them for the engineering team
  • Oversee development, testing, and release management to ensure quality and reliability
  • Participate actively in agile ceremonies to promote transparency and learning

Key requirements

  • 5+ years in product management or relevant domain within financial services or technology
  • Experience with public cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Advanced knowledge of product development lifecycle, design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to lead lifecycle activities from discovery to value management
  • Experience delivering large, complex digital product initiatives with cross-team dependencies
  • Experience with software delivery best practices, dependency mapping, MVP design, and multi-country requirements
  • Ability to translate ideas into technical or layman terms
