Overview
In this role you support the Structured Products and Exchange Products Middle Office to ensure smooth trade execution from entry to settlement. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize trade workflows and leverage automation to increase efficiency and resilience. The position focuses on enhancing controls, reducing manual tasks, and enabling better decision-making for senior stakeholders. You will work on expanding the ETP and exotic product capabilities while developing relationships with internal partners. This is an opportunity to contribute to a high-growth trading services platform within a leading global bank.
Responsibilities
- Support Equity Derivative Structured Products Desks in EMEA (sales and trading for exotic lines)
- Facilitate trade bookings and respond to queries on structured trades
- Validate economic integrity and ensure settlement and client setup are complete
- Complete secondary buyback formalities and facilitate pricing (Bloomberg, Telekrus, Reuters)
- Prepare calculations for expiries, coupons, pay-offs; draft fixing notices for custodians
- Book Structured Products into front office systems (ETP, range accruals, accumulators, auto-callables, FX notes, etc.)
- Collaborate with sales/trading to onboard new trades and automate workflows
- Lead initiatives to reduce manual work, enhance controls, and mitigate input errors
- Drive the future state of the Structured Products business by improving daily processes and supporting new initiatives
- Develop relationships with internal stakeholders and present insights to senior management
Key requirements
- Excellent product knowledge of Structured Products across asset classes (Equity Derivatives, FX, Commodities)
- Understanding of booking flows from FO risk systems to lifecycle management and settlement
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong control mindset
- Strong time management and ability to work under pressure
- Team player with ability to build cross-organizational relationships
- Proactive problem-solving with root-cause analysis and ownership of solutions
- Willingness to start early and stay late if business needs require
