Overview
In this Lead Technical Program Manager role, you will guide complex technology initiatives that advance business objectives within J.P. Morgan’s CTO/ESP. You’ll coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver on strategic programs, applying technical principles and agile practices to navigate ambiguity and drive high-impact outcomes. You will leverage AI-enabled capabilities to accelerate planning, manage risks, and ensure delivery quality and alignment with business goals. You will influence stakeholders, foster continuous improvement, and contribute to governance and risk management excellence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans with technical requirements, resources, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery
- Leverage enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate planning, consolidate inputs, RAID, and create executive-ready updates with proper data handling
- Identify and mitigate risks and implement contingency plans to maintain momentum
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to define scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned to business goals
- Use advanced analytics to assess program performance and drive data-driven optimizations
- Champion agile delivery practices and continuous improvement within the team
- Promote reuse-first, AI-assisted governance and reporting with human-in-the-loop review
Key requirements
- Formal training or certification in technical program management; advanced experience with Agile practices
- Experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to support program management with strong validation and data-sensitivity awareness
- Ability to review and validate AI-assisted plans and recommendations; escalate when uncertain
- Advanced stakeholder management skills to influence cross-functional teams and clients
- Proven track record of managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams in a fast-paced, agile environment
