Overview

In this role you will support both origination and execution of mandates in the EMEA Technology franchise. You will own valuation workstreams and prepare client materials, contributing to M&A, equity and debt transactions. You will manage day-to-day execution on live mandates, coordinate due diligence, and interface with senior bankers and client management. You will receive formal training and mentoring as you build a full toolkit of valuation, structuring, and client engagement. Responsibilities

  • Build and own valuation analysis (DCF, trading and transaction comps, LBO, accretion/dilution, merger consequences)
  • Lead day-to-day execution of live mandates (diligence, workstream planning, adviser management)
  • Prepare pitch materials, management/Board presentations, and transaction documentation for M&A, equity and debt capital markets
  • Conduct transaction structuring and capital structure analysis to form defensible recommendations
  • Engage with senior team members and client management to execute transactions and discuss strategic alternatives
  • Supervise and review analysts, ensuring accuracy of outputs
  • Develop and maintain sector coverage via company/sub-sector profiles and thematic work

Key requirements

  • Over four years’ investment banking experience with a track record on executed M&A and capital markets transactions
  • Ability to engage with clients directly in person and virtually
  • Proven financial modelling and valuation skills on live transactions
  • Ability to prioritise and deliver across concurrent projects under deadlines
  • Collaborative approach and willingness to coach junior colleagues
  • Excellent attention to detail and ownership of accuracy in models, documents and data
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication
  • Highly organised and proactive with ability to run workstreams with limited supervision
