As an Associate in Institutional Cash Equity Sales within Global Sales & Marketing, you will support UK client coverage across asset managers and financial institutions. You will help deliver market colour, trade ideas, and execution support across cash equities, partnering with senior sales colleagues and internal desks. You will contribute to day-to-day client engagement while building the technical and commercial skills to originate solutions independently.

Job Responsibilities
  • Support senior sales colleagues in marketing cash equity ideas and solutions to institutional clients.
  • Co-cover a portfolio of UK clients, helping to manage daily engagement and follow-ups.
  • Develop and pitch tailored trade ideas aligned to client objectives and market conditions.
  • Partner with trading and structuring to manage client flows and respond to market opportunities.
  • Assist with pricing, execution support, and post-trade coordination to deliver a strong client experience.
  • Provide timely market updates and relevant insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Track client activity and feedback to help refine coverage plans and content priorities.
  • Prepare client materials and presentations to support meetings and discussions.
  • Prioritise multiple requests effectively, maintaining accuracy and responsiveness.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Experience in a markets-based role, preferably within equities.
  • Ability to explain complex products and market concepts clearly to clients and internal partners.
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude and comfort working with market data and analytics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency with Bloomberg, including analytical functions.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy in a high-tempo environment.
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines and organise work effectively.
  • Collaborative working style and commitment to team outcomes.
