As a Credit Research Analyst or Associate in the European Credit Research team, you will support industry and company-specific coverage across European credit. You will analyse earnings, regulatory filings and news flow, build financial models, and contribute to valuation and written research. You will work closely with sales and trading partners to deliver timely market updates and actionable insights. You will also engage with internal and external clients and company management teams as part of comprehensive coverage.
Job responsibilities
- Analyse company fundamentals, earnings and key disclosures to assess credit quality and relative value.
- Monitor and interpret industry dynamics and news events affecting issuers and sectors.
- Build and maintain financial statement models, forecasts and valuation frameworks.
- Draft research notes and contribute to broader sector and thematic publications.
- Present investment views and key takeaways to internal partners and external clients.
- Respond to client and internal requests with timely market updates and market intelligence.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience in an analytical role with relevant sector exposure (e.g., research, investment banking, accounting, or a rating agency).
- Strong accounting and finance foundations, including the ability to interpret financial statements and disclosures.
- Proven financial modelling, forecasting and valuation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to communicate ideas clearly through documentation.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
- Sound judgement and a disciplined approach to decision-making.
- High attention to detail and an adaptable, collaborative working style.

- Proficiency in a modern European language (in addition to English).
