Overview
In this role you will lead the finance and business management function for Global Real Estate in EMEA & APAC, aligning site-level real estate plans with firmwide objectives. You will manage a ~15-person team focused on financial analytics, capital planning, and forecasting, partnering with Real Estate functions to shape investment decisions. You will synthesize complex plans for CFOs and senior leaders, drive regional strategy execution, and enhance processes through automation. This is an opportunity to influence real estate strategy at scale within a global financial services leader.
Responsibilities
- Lead site-level budgeting and monthly forecasting, ensuring alignment with up-to-date assumptions and regional strategies
- Oversee reporting accuracy and timeliness for GRE CFO and Real Estate Regional Leads
- Develop financial analyses to support market-specific decisions (buy vs lease, relocations, expansions, exits, sublets)
- Provide strategic reporting to CFOs and senior management, increasing transparency into real estate spend and plans
- Manage business management support for EMEA & APAC Real Estate Regional Leads
- Collaborate with Design & Construction, Property Management, Transactions, Regional Strategy, and Incentives Group to develop capital plans and OPEX forecasts
- Drive process improvements, controls enhancements, and AI/automation initiatives
- Assist in prioritization, implementation, and measurement of key business priorities and targets
- Synthesize complex plans and messages for senior leadership to inform decisions
Key requirements
- Experience leading a finance/business management team (approx. 15 staff)
- Strong ability to produce budgets/forecasts at regional/site level
- Proven capability in financial analysis for real estate decisions (buy vs lease, relocations, expansions, exits)
- Track record of delivering executive-level reporting and strategic insight
- Experience partnering with cross-functional Real Estate teams to develop capital plans and P&L drivers
- Ability to drive process improvements and adopt AI/automation
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
