As a Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) Composite Analyst Vice President in the Performance Analysis Group (PAG) Team, you will manage multi-asset composite performance workloads across Fixed Income, Equities, and Multi-Asset Solutions (MAS), supporting global strategies including varied investment structures (WRAP/SMAs, pooled vehicles, ETFs, and institutional mandates).

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and complete International GIPS Firm annual verification.
  • Construct, maintain, and govern GIPS composites in accordance with GIPS standards, including treatment of institutional accounts and bundled/WRAP retail products.
  • Collaborate with other global team members to investigate and resolve queries/issues related to performance and formulate best practices to improve the efficiency of the team.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders i.e. Portfolio Managers, Investment Specialists, Investment Directors, Client Reporting and serve as key point of contact as a GIPS Subject Matter Expert.
  • Produce and deliver GIPS Reports on a recurring and ad-hoc basis, ensuring completeness of benchmarks, composite details, and required disclosures.
  • Partner with stakeholders (Investments, Client/Marketing, Product, Compliance, Risk, Operations) to support performance-related deliverables and respond to internal/external inquiries.
  • Perform account-level and composite-level performance and ex post risk calculations using appropriate methodologies used in performance reporting (e.g., volatility, tracking error, information ratio and other measures as required).
  • Leverage StatPro Composite / StatPro Interactive for composite construction, maintenance, and reporting; help improve tool usage, workflows, and documentation.
  • Support audits, internal reviews, and compliance testing by maintaining clear evidence trails, procedures, and repeatable controls related to composites, benchmarks, and reporting outputs whilst adhering to all PAG controls i.e. timely Standard Operating Procedure ("SOP") updates and Change Management.
  • Analyse business processes end-to-end to identify operational risks, gaps, and inefficiencies; recommend and implement process improvements and innovative solutions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives (automation, standardization, KPI tracking, and cycle-time reduction) to enhance accuracy, scalability, and timeliness of deliverables.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Relevant experience in financial services, with a focus on GIPS composite creation, maintenance and implementation.
  • Strong performance analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail, a proactive approach to identifying issues, and being able to handle multiple assignments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present GIPS rules in a way that non-experts understand hence being able to adjust the dialog to the stakeholder.
  • Self-motivated and a self-starter, capable of working independently with minimal guidance to achieve objectives and at the same time can collaborate and support less experienced junior members in offsite teams.
  • Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, actuarial science, business management, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with handling large datasets, proficiency with MS Excel, experience with Python/SQL programming, and tools such as Alteryx or Tableau.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Progress towards advanced degree or certifications such as CIPM is advantageous.
  • Experience with leveraging AI/LLMs to accomplish business objectives.
