Overview
In this Regulatory Business Analyst role, you will support planning, coordination and delivery of strategic projects within Global Program Management. You will collaborate with EMEA Regulatory Reporting, Technology, and business teams to ensure initiatives align with objectives and regulatory requirements. You will contribute to regulatory reporting efforts, application enhancements and technical change within an Agile context. Your work helps drive compliance, growth and operational excellence across the organization. You will operate in a cross-functional product team, translating regulatory needs into actionable work and supporting change through discovery to delivery.
Responsibilities
- Define project scope, timelines and approach with cross-functional teams to meet regulatory impacts
- Work in Agile ceremonies (backlog refinement, sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives)
- Translate outcomes into epics, user stories and acceptance criteria with Product Owners and stakeholders
- Support Product Oriented Delivery (POD) from discovery to continuous improvement
- Document and communicate business requirements and testing strategies against success criteria
- Specify test environment needs and manage issue escalation through resolution
- Identify risks/dependencies and propose mitigations to PM and EMEA Regulatory Reporting
- Lead business requirements definitions and conduct functional testing
- Engage with Reporting team on trainings and change handover; act as business advisor on changes
Key requirements
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written, concise documentation
- Knowledge of regulatory reporting rules (credit risk, market risk, financial reporting)
- Experience with regulatory software reporting packages (AXIOM)
- Knowledge of financial markets and instruments
- Advanced Excel/Access with large data sets
- Experience in user testing planning and execution
- Understanding of project life cycle and Agile delivery
- Practical experience with POD or similar cross-functional product models
