As a Lending Product Owner in Wealth Management, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value.
You will need to be outcome focused and foster an environment of continual innovation based on data interpretation, customer/stakeholder interviews and adopting the latest digital technologies to enhance client experience and maximize profitability. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers.
- Manages discovery efforts and research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap.
- Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition.
- Lead agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Leads the Product Testing & Release management strategy.
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of product analyst/associates, fostering their growth and development.
- Facilitate collaboration and communication within the scrum teams and with other departments.
- Act as the primary point of contact for product-related queries and updates.
- Continuously improve processes to enhance productivity and product quality.
- Utilize design thinking methodologies to help de-risk product investments by validating assumptions early and iterating based on user feedback.
Required Qualifications, capabilities & skills:
- Graduate/Post-Graduate, with a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in Banking/Financial Services of which at least 3 should be in a similar role & profile.
- Expertise in defining, building out product strategy and roadmap and strong prioritization skills.
- Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle.
- Data & Tech Literacy - Leverages data analytics and digital skills to create new insights and deliver well-designed applications that together support business transformation.
- Market & Product Knowledge - Demonstrates a thorough understanding of our products, systems and end-to-end processes, and keeps abreast of market and industry trends.
- Continuous Improvement - Applies innovation and design thinking techniques to continually challenge and improve the efficiency, scale, and resilience of our operating platform.
