Overview
As a Cybersecurity Architect III, you design and deliver high-quality security architecture for software applications and platforms within a leading financial institution. You collaborate with cross-functional architects to implement secure solutions aligned with business objectives and risk posture. You leverage AI-assisted threat modeling and control reviews to accelerate security work while ensuring data sensitivity and auditability. This role offers impact in shaping resilient architectures at scale, with a focus on risk-informed decisions and security governance.
Responsibilities
- Analyze security risks to protect data, apps, and infrastructure
- Leverage enterprise-authorized AI to support threat modeling, control reviews, and security documentation
- Review existing security controls with minimal oversight
- Identify network-architecture gaps and document threats and mitigations for small software apps
- Apply AI-assisted patterns in SDLC/toolchain to improve security testing and ensure traceability
- Ensure outputs meet resiliency and security expectations
Key requirements
- Formal training or certification on cybersecurity architecture concepts
- Experience building cybersecurity solutions based on security parameters
- Proficiency with enterprise AI capabilities in security workflows and strong data sensitivity awareness
- Ability to validate AI-assisted recommendations before adoption and ensure auditability
- Ability to evaluate cybersecurity technologies to optimize architecture
- Hands-on system design, development, testing, and operational stability experience
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages
- Strong knowledge of information and network security, IT risk management, and architectural patterns
- Knowledge of SDLC, agile methods (CI/CD), resilience, and security
- Experience with software applications and technical processes in cloud, AI/ML, mobile domains
