Overview
In this role you support cutting-edge EMEA debt capital markets work within a global, leading financial institution. You will document, review and execute DCM transactions across investment grade, high yield and emerging markets, collaborating closely with business teams and legal colleagues worldwide. You’ll help set documentation standards, advise on risk, and contribute to firm-wide projects and training. This position offers exposure to complex capital markets matters and a path to shape legal solutions at scale.
Responsibilities
- Support structuring, review and execution of EMEA DCM transactions including various bond formats
- Negotiate and advise on legal documents and risk assessment
- Maintain and guide documentation standards and internal policies
- Share knowledge and train business teams and Legal colleagues
- Engage in cross-border collaboration on firm-wide legal and regulatory developments
- Participate in Legal and Firm-wide projects
Key requirements
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and execution skills
- Ability to think laterally to identify wider risks and propose solutions

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Solid debt capital markets experience at a law firm or in-house legal team at an investment bank
- Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction or compliant with in-house counsel rules
